FAAMSU (Freethinkers, Atheists and Agnostics at Mississippi State University), a chapter of the Secular Student Alliance (SSA), aims to create community for secular students while also providing a welcoming environment for believers of all stripes to join the conversation about the role of religion in society -- at the campus level as well as nationally and internationally. Meetings often feature discussion about news events that pertain to religion's role in society/politics. Occasionally, speakers from across the belief spectrum are invited to take up the topic -- what do you believe and why do you believe it? If you want to get a feel for what meetings might look like and which topics we tend to cover, FAAMSU maintains a playlist of past invited speakers -- https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLv8EXgEgNThTWJzEzYX0ONJrUyXR0Ohjv&si=NIP4oPb4E9WWY03n FAAMSU also does outreach in the form of public film screenings and "Ask an Atheist" tabling.
