The Center for Advising invites all students to join us for a General Advising Workshop designed to help you navigate the advising process at Mississippi State University with confidence. This come-and-go session will walk you through the essential tools and steps needed to stay on track academically—no appointments required. During the workshop, advisors will guide you through: How advising works at MSU and the key steps every student must complete to be successful. DegreeWorks : understanding degree audits, progress tracking, and academic requirements. Master Class Schedule : how to search for courses and plan your upcoming semester. Plan Ahead : how to build a mock schedule and prepare for your advising appointment. Please note: Advisors at this workshop will not tell you which classes to take. Your specific academic advisor will help you make final course decisions.
