iNaturalist is a platform where users can upload photos and records of organisms they observe in nature and where scientists can gather biodiversity data. Learn how you can contribute to the billions of records in the platform by documenting your own observations. We will go over how to take photographs to properly record the species you encounter, and how scientists use the data to study ecological patterns. The first 30 minutes of this event will take place indoors in the library. The remaining 30 minutes will be used to collect observations outdoors. We will have a leisurely stroll around the library and the drill field. In case of rain or bad weather, this workshop will be cancelled and rescheduled.
